I've loved this look ever since Proenza's Spring 09 show...thank you for the great suggestions! Now all I need is the courage to wear it...

And I quote: "Recession NOT Depression". You're spot on! It'll be over soon enough...

My biggest issue with this entire ordeal is that designers are pulling out there best work whens times (financially) are quite tough. Perhaps the global recession has inspired and motivated designers to really push the envelope this time around to retain their client base? I hope it ends soon; the word itself gives me a headache.

Back to what's important: bold lips. Dolce & Gabbana had the most severe, practical lips this season. I say "practical" on account of Alexander McQueen's blow-up doll lips were even MORE intensified, but clearly wouldn't be applied to ANY woman.

I don't wear lipstick (obviously :p) but I wouldn't mind having Rouge Interdit by Givenchy just for some extra bling ;)

Interesting content.

Just wanted to share some information that may help busy professionals caught up with work and who have less time to maintain
their nails. You can try out gel nails which are now becoming a hot favorite as they are natural looking even without nail tips and the best way for nail enhancement. Also, if you are allergic to those strong smelling chemicals which you can experience with acrylic nails, then you should use gel nails as these are odorless.

However, when you are planning on gel nail application, make sure you approach a nail salon or a nail artist who is well
versed with gel nails and is properly trained and mastered in gel applications. This will save you from problems that can arise with improper gel nail applications.

That's my signature Armani red lipstick. Worth every penny [it feels like chapstick and that to me equals comfortable makeup]

Really beautiful blog.
